Blayre Turnbull

A two-time Olympic gold medalist and standout forward for Team Canada, Blayre Turnbull is known for her speed, tenacity, and leadership on and off the ice. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, she’s been a key contributor in international competition and a driving force in advancing women’s hockey in Canada. As a coach at HNIB, Turnbull brings elite experience, a team-first mentality, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of players.

Jeremy Roenick

Zebeski wrapped up the 2024–25 season with the Brampton Steelheads, registering 18 goals and 36 points across 58 games. Known for his gritty play, physical presence and leadership qualities, Zebeski was invited to the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2025 Development Camp as a promising two-way forward.

Cody Hodgson

Cody Hodgson returns to Hockey Night in Brampton, bringing back his elite hockey pedigree and strong connection to the local community. Drafted 10th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2008 NHL Draft, Hodgson was a highly skilled center known for his offensive talent and strong hockey sense. Before his NHL career, Hodgson starred for the Brampton Battalion in the OHL, where he was named the OHL Player of the Year in 2009. His NHL career highlights include earning a spot on the NHL All-Rookie Team in the 2011-12 season with the Canucks and being traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 2012, where he had his best NHL season in 2013-14, scoring 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists).

Terry Ryan

Terry Ryan, drafted 8th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 1995, makes his Hockey Night in Brampton debut with a powerful blend of grit, charisma and community pride. A celebrated figure in Newfoundland hockey and a fan-favourite across Canada, Ryan is known for his physical play, infectious energy and vibrant presence both on the ice and in the media. His passion for the game and larger-than-life persona promise to ignite this year’s all-star lineup.​ Beyond the rink, Ryan has gained a new wave of fans as a breakout star on the hit hockey comedy Shoresy.

Mason Zebeski

Brayden Gillespie

Gillespie starred as the starting goaltender for the Guelph Storm in the 2024–25 OHL season, posting a .908 save percentage and a 2.87 goals-against average in 42 games. Praised for his quick reactions, composure and ability to read plays, he’s considered one of the OHL’s top goaltending prospects.

Mark Giordano

A Norris Trophy-winning defenceman, Giordano began his NHL career with the Calgary Flames, where he served as captain for eight seasons. He later became the first-ever captain of the Seattle Kraken before joining his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs. Known for his leadership, consistency, and offensive instincts, Giordano has earned numerous accolades throughout his career and remains one of the most respected veterans in the league.

Curtis Joseph

One of the most iconic goaltenders in NHL history, Curtis Joseph played 19 seasons with teams including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and St. Louis Blues. Undrafted out of college, he went on to earn 454 career wins, ranking among the all-time greats. A three-time NHL All-Star and gold medalist at the 2002 Winter Olympics, “Cujo” is known for his fearless style, signature mask, and lasting impact on the game.

Gabriel Chiarot

Selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2024 NHL Draft, Chiarot played the 2024–25 OHL season with the North Bay Battalion, where he posted 22 goals and 47 points in 61 games. A smart, reliable two-way forward, he continues to rise as a strong prospect with solid hockey sense and skating ability.

Erik Gudbranson

Drafted third overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2010 NHL Draft, Gudbranson is a rugged, dependable defenceman known for his physicality and leadership. Over his NHL career, he has played for multiple teams including the Panthers, Canucks, Penguins, and Flames, bringing a veteran presence to every blue line. Gudbranson’s toughness, shot-blocking ability, and playoff experience make him a reliable force on the ice.
