Chris Chelios

One of the most durable and accomplished defensemen in NHL history, was drafted 40th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 1981. Over his 26-season career, he played for the Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and Atlanta Thrashers. Chelios’ career highlights include winning three Stanley Cups (one with Montreal in 1986 and two with Detroit in 2002 and 2008), earning three Norris Trophies as the league’s best defenseman, and being named to 11 NHL All-Star Games. Known for his longevity and leadership, Chelios also represented the United States in several international tournaments, including the Olympics, further cementing his legacy as one of hockey’s all-time greats.
