Darryl Sittler – Puck Drop

An iconic figure in NHL history, was drafted 8th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1970. Known for his scoring prowess and leadership, Sittler’s career highlights include his record-setting 10-point game in 1976, the most points in a single NHL game. He was named to the NHL All-Star Game nine times and served as the Maple Leafs’ captain from 1975 to 1981. Sittler also played for the Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings, finishing his career with over 1,100 points. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989, Sittler remains celebrated for his contributions to the sport and his remarkable achievements on the ice.
