BRAMPTON, ON (August 11, 2026) – Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) players Emily Clark of PWHL Hamilton and Jaime Bourbonnais of the New York Sirens are the latest stars confirmed for the August 19 Hockey Night in Brampton charity game in support of Brampton’s second hospital.
Also joining the lineup are former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Curtis Joseph, who will hit the ice as a skater, former professional hockey player and Shoresy actor Terry Ryan, CP24’s Steve Ryan and Brampton Steelheads goaltenders Neilan Johnson and Oskari Ahmajärvi.
The latest additions join team captain Morgan Rielly, Michael Misa, Pavel Mintyukov, Stephen Halliday, Erik Gudbranson, Kris Versteeg, Paul Coffey, Ryan Getzlaf, Joe Kocur, Cody Hodgson, Dylan Strome, Owen Power, Phil Oreskovic and Ethan Czata, along with coaches Doug Gilmour, Wendel Clark and Gary Roberts.
With game day just over a week away, Hockey Night in Brampton will bring together professional hockey stars, alumni, rising talent and special guests for an unforgettable night in support of the fundraising campaign for Brampton’s second hospital.
More players will be announced ahead of puck drop as excitement builds for this year’s event.

Player Profiles
Emily Clark
Emily Clark is a veteran forward with Canada’s National Women’s Team and an established PWHL player. An Olympic gold medallist and multiple-time world champion, Clark has represented Canada at the Olympic Winter Games and IIHF Women’s World Championship. She currently plays with PWHL Hamilton.
Jaime Bourbonnais
Jaime Bourbonnais is a defenseman with the PWHL’s New York Sirens and a member of Canada’s National Women’s Team. Known for her strong two-way play, mobility and ability to move the puck, Bourbonnais has competed at the highest levels of women’s hockey and continues to be a key presence on the Sirens’ blue line.
Curtis Joseph
Curtis Joseph, affectionately known to hockey fans as “Cujo,” is one of the most recognizable goaltenders in Canadian hockey history. The former Toronto Maple Leaf played more than 900 NHL regular-season games during an accomplished career. At Hockey Night in Brampton, Joseph will take on a different role, leaving the goalie equipment behind to join the action as a skater.
Neilan Johnson
Neilan Johnson is a goaltender with the Brampton Steelheads and one of the organization’s newest prospects. A native of Severna Park, Maryland, Johnson was selected in the third round, 51st overall, in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection, becoming the first goaltender selected by the Steelheads in this year’s draft. Following a standout season with Hotchkiss School, Johnson signed an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with Brampton.
Oskari Ahmajärvi
Oskari Ahmajärvi is a Finnish goaltender with the Brampton Steelheads who was selected seventh overall in the 2026 CHL Import Draft. Before joining Brampton, Ahmajärvi played with Kiekko-Espoo in Finland’s U20 SM-sarja and has also represented Finland internationally at the U16, U17 and U18 levels.
Terry Ryan
Terry Ryan is a former professional hockey player, actor and author who was selected eighth overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1995 NHL Draft. Following his playing career, Ryan became known to a new generation of hockey fans through his role as Ted Hitchcock on the hit Canadian series Shoresy. He will bring his hockey experience and personality to the ice at Hockey Night in Brampton.
Steve Ryan
Steve Ryan is CP24’s Crime Specialist and a familiar face to viewers across the Greater Toronto Area. He joined CP24 in 2017 following a 30-year career with the Toronto Police Service, where he rose to the rank of detective sergeant in the homicide unit. Ryan is also an author and has covered major stories across the region throughout his broadcasting career. At Hockey Night in Brampton, he will trade reporting from the sidelines for a spot on the ice.
