Phil Oreskovic built a reputation as a dependable, physical presence throughout his professional hockey career, earning recognition for his leadership and commitment to team play. Drafted 82nd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2005, he appeared in 10 games with the Leafs during the 2008–09 season, recording one goal and two assists. He spent the majority of his career with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL and also played for the Toronto Roadrunners. Oreskovic developed his game with the Brampton Battalion of the OHL and remains actively involved in the sport through a youth hockey development program in Brampton delivered in partnership with local organizations.
