Shayne Corson

Shayne Corson had a 19-season NHL career, playing 1,156 games, accumulating 693 points and spending 2,357 minutes in the penalty box—equivalent to over 39 hours. Corson was drafted 8th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft and quickly became a fan favorite with his physical style of play. Throughout his career, he played for several teams, including the Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars and Toronto Maple Leafs. Corson was a three-time NHL All-Star and served as captain of the Oilers and the Canadiens. He was also part of the Canadiens’ Stanley Cup-winning team in 1986.
